Overview

Distell is a Multinational Brewing and Beverage company, based in South Africa. It was looking for a partner to bring exposure to the Savanna Virtual Comedy Bar initiative, sponsored by Savanna, Distell’s premium cider, to support local comedians during the COVID19 lockdown. The collaboration between MediaCom and VDX.tv utilizing VDX.tv’s Full Video Experience solution generated notable engagement and drove qualified traffic to the Savanna Virtual Comedy Bar website.

Solution

Leveraging VDX.tv’s rich audience targeting, the tailormade video units showcased engaging video and interactive content, giving the user full control to “lean in” and learn more about the Savanna Virtual Comedy Bar initiative.

The VDX Full Video Experience included up to 17 ad units, ensuring maximum reach across all screens, including desktop, mobile, in-stream and in-read.

Viewability was critical for this campaign to be successful, and the CPV (Cost per View) metric as well as Moat verification supported this goal with 100% viewability. VDX.tv’s viewability thresholds are 5x higher compared to Industry/MRC standards.

“With the Covid19 lockdown, we were looking for impactful and engaging creatives that would help us to build the excitement and hype around the Savanna Virtual Comedy Bar initiative in support of the local comedians. Thanks to the collaboration between MediaCom and VDX.tv, we successfully achieved our objectives and delivered great results for this initiative”.
