We're pleased to announce that VDX.tv has renewed its IAB UK Gold Standard 2.1 certification. VDX.tv is certified under the "Full-Service Support" category.

As a Gold Standard certified company, we're dedicated to creating a more trustworthy and accountable digital advertising ecosystem and building a more sustainable future for the industry.

IAB UK members that participate in Gold Standard initiative are committed to improving the digital experience, adhering to compliance with the GDPR and ePrivacy laws, upholding brand safety, tackling ad fraud and strengthening supply chain transparency. Advertisers who work with Gold Standard certified buyers and sellers of digital media benefit from improved digital ad experiences for their consumers.

What are the requirements to become Gold Standard certified?

  • Reduce ad fraud by implementing or supporting IAB Tech Lan's ads.txt, Sellers.json and OpenRTB SuppleChain Object, buyers.json and DemandChain Object. Including FCA's register checks.
  • Uphold brand safety by obtaining TAG Brand Safety Certification.
  • Improve the digital ad experience by adhering to The Coalition for Better Ads advertising standards.
  • Help compliance with the GDPR and ePrivacy law by adopting IAB Europe's Transparency Consent Framework (TCF)

VDX.tv's adherence to the Gold Standard ensures that our clients are safeguarded from environments that compromise brand safety or disrupt the user experience. While the Gold Standard originated as a UK-specific initiative, many aspects of the certification have relevance for our clients globally.

The IAB UK Gold Standard continues to push the ad tech industry to create a better overall digital advertising experience for consumers, including compliance with the GDPR and ePrivacy law and of course tackle ad fraud and brand safety.
